Recurring briefings
Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.
You can ask John to repeat a brief on a cadence. This is beta (scheduled briefings). There is no separate scheduler page in the john.ceo app. You set it by asking John in chat.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- Slack, in the thread where you want the brief to land
- The same connections you would need for a one-off morning brief
- Work credits so the workspace is not paused
Example ask
Section titled “Example ask”Every weekday at 8:00 in my timezone, in this thread: unread mail that looks urgent, today’s calendar, and quiet CRM deals. Draft only. If a send would be needed, ask me first.
What John can read
Section titled “What John can read”The same sources as the one-off recipe, plus this thread’s history.
What needs approval
Section titled “What needs approval”Scheduled tasks that need a write now ask in Slack instead of silently stopping. Reads can deliver in the bound thread.
Expected output
Section titled “Expected output”A repeating message in that thread.
Credits and limits
Section titled “Credits and limits”- Beta. Treat scheduling as early access; confirm the first two runs yourself.
- Delivery is bound to the thread where you scheduled it.
- Do not expect posting to arbitrary public channels John has not been added to.
- Sleeping workspaces wake a few minutes early so scheduled work can still run. Workspace.
- Telegram is not the approval surface for connected-app writes. Approvals.
